Mari Sarai: NAKED
This is an exhibition in London, by Mari Surai, and I really really want to go!! I recently heard of her, so I'm not that updated on her style, but I do love her work - and that's what counts!
My new world (as cliche as it sounds)
So now I've arrived, safe and sound at the Halls in Swansea. My room is pretty decent, and I have a great view (to trees three feet from my window), not being sarcastic. The city is fantastic and I really love the people here and the relaxed and friendly atmosphere, it's all I expected and much more! Today I went shopping, since I didn't really bring much clothes with me (well, this was the masterplan - one simply must have clothes!) so I actually need the clothes I buy (hurray!). Tonight were going out on the town to check it out, I can't wait, I've been so thirsty for a beer for such a long time now!
eight days to take-off!!
Photo by Jerry Uelsmann, he's just wicked. hope I learn something like this at the awesome uni I'm going to, woo!
I literally can't wait to get on that goddam plane, and all I do these days is just ache and long for a new city really. crazy feeling.
today I got some cool news; I get to borrow my stepfather's analogue nikon with blitz, "bokeh"filters and camera rack with me to Swansea - woaa! got inspired by all this and think I'll spend the rest of the evening just experimenting and having fun behind the lens. goood I love photography.
Hoping to see this documentary one fine day!
A person wants to make a documentary about Robert Capa. The title will be "The Mexican Suitcase"; because a suitcase full of missing negatives was found in Mexico not too long ago, all taken by Capa himself. This documentary project needs funding, from everyone! You can give an amount of your own choice to help make this documentary.
(Kickstarter is one of the greatest things that exists on the internet; a fantastic distributor. You can tell people about your idea for a film\ documentary, etc, and if people find the project exciting- and want to see the final product, they donate money for the project! It's great, and I love how it's based on pure ideas and kindness and enthusiasm and every other positive word!)
