In an episode of Gossip Girl, Ryan McGinley gets thrown in the garbage by Serena's mom, who instead wants Mapplethorne on her walls (appareantly just to show off her naked ass, so even though Mapplethorne is a great photographer - that doesn't really count here. skank).
